  • 1981 Giant & Medcom Corp. (GMC) established

    With more than ten years’ experience and knowledge in pharmaceutical market, a group of aggressive pharmacists from Bristol-Myers established the company

    and soon got high reputation of professionalism. At this early stage, GMC succeeded in launching brand new Minor Tranquilizer / Anti-Asthma products and achieved the leading position until now.

  • 1984 GMC launched CIS Concept (Corporate Identity System)

    With expectation to establish long term business foundation and become real GIANT in healthcare field, GMC started to invest in building company image through key visual expression to deliver business philosophy: Generous, Innovative, Aggressive, Natural, Tough-Minded.

SECOND DECADE 1991

  • 1991 Universal Integrated Corp. (UIC) established

    The company consolidated its several business lines under one management system in order to reinforce corporate flexibility and efficiency.

    The consolidated "UIC GROUP" was ready to step into another new era for business expansion and diversification.

  • 1999 UIC got agentship for C.B. Fleet Company and started business to pioneer Feminine Hygiene product line in Taiwan market

    UIC established the marketing model to explore the totally strange and undeveloped feminine market. Starting from patient /consumer education, ethical promotion in hospital to OTC channel establishment, UIC miraculously changed the market from desert into oasis. Our effort not only brought about new trend for the crowded OTC market, but more importantly, we renovated feminine hygiene concept for local females.

    Now, Summer's eve UIC represented is still standing fast in the leading position of Feminine care market.

THIRD DECADE 2001

STARTED TO DIVERSIFY BUSINESS TO VARIOUS NICHE MARKETS(DRY MOUTH AND BOWEL CLEANSING

  • 2002 Got license approval for Salagen, UIC again played the role as pioneer to develop Dry Mouth market.

    Patients suffered Xerostomia from immuno-/radio- therapy were targeted and educated so as to get QOL improvement. UIC hence accumulated profound knowledge of the unmet demand of dry mouth market and paid more efforts to look for complementary remedy to relieve patients' misery.

  • 2004 UIC got license approval of Fleet Phospho-Soda, starting upgrade of Bowel Cleansing for Colonoscopy

    With heavy investment in seminars, workshops and patient educational system, UIC established the new standard for Bowel Cleansing procedure. By upgrading the concept on bowel preparation for Colonoscopy, UIC inspired the prosperous development of this niche market. Once again, UIC soon got 80% of this market and once again, we leaded the market trend and renovation.

  • 2005 UIC got involved in the scar management by representing first Silicone gel for scar

    After several years' cultivation, UIC not only created the Silicon gel market but innovated the product by introducing 3rd generation Silicone gel and maintained the leadership in scar management.

FOURTH DECADE 2011

SUBSTANTIALLY IMPLEMENTING CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY "MORE THAN YOU CARE" IN BUSINESS OPERATION

  • 2011 UIC launched his first Nutraceutical "FlexNow" and simultaneously got the distributorship from GSK for Biotene Special Oral Care Line

    "FlexNow" is a unique natural plant extract with scientifically proved efficacy in Osteoarthritis (OA). In the crowded and mature OA supplement market, a natural extract product is facing great challenge to penetrate to the premium market. While UIC got amazing success by strategic marketing manipulation.

    FlexNow got a quick sales outbreak in very short period and overturned the traditional Glucosamine market.

    Biotene is an oral care brand specifically targeting on aging people or severe patients with oral problems coming from treatment. With UIC's strong background and connection in hospital dry mouth market, Biotene's joint finally complemented the total solution for dry mouth and oral Mucositis.

    UIC proved his ability to develop a brand new product and get medical experts' endorsement in the soonest way.

  • 2014 UIC luckily got distributorship from Kewpie and completed the patient preparation for Colonoscopy.

    Kewpie is the largest Japanese food company and also market leader for medical food with innovative technology for special food to satisfy medical need.

    The first success in Taiwan was coming from the "Clear-Through", a low residue food specially designed for bowel preparation the day before Colonoscopy. Based on UIC's abundant expertise in this field, we have professional market knowledge to get success in representing best products to serve our clients.

  • 2016 UIC got new drug license for 3rd generation Bowel Cleansing Agent by an innovative combo formulation

    The new combo idea was derived from our long term market involvement and intensive medical research.
